True Heart Healing

True Heart Healing is a non-profit organization focused on bringing the healing power of horses to the community. Our mission is to leverage the healing power of equine partnership and the joy of equine companionship to support and empower children with disabilities and/or life-altering illness, service members, veterans, and their families, to build stabilizing relationships, facilitate learning and personal growth, find hope, and discover purpose.

About The Daily Ride:​

Trueheart is a 2020 APHA filly. Morgan brought her home in June of 2022, and True completed training with the help of  Tara from August to November of that year when she graduated "horse school" and was awarded a special diploma drawn by her cousin, Kaya. Since then, Tara has become True's "Auntie Tara" and she continues to coach both Morgan and True as they grow in their partnership. ​

Tara started the tradition of videotaping every single training session and ride on True, and Morgan has continued videoing and documenting each ride. True loves snuggles, learning new tricks, being told how pretty she is, zooming around as fast as she can, butt scratches, and riding with Morgan. She strongly dislikes lunging, stall rest, and ice boots.
